Some ways to reframe thoughts using classic CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) approaches.

My favourites are 'what would you say to a friend in the same situation' which is often helpful, however not always.

This is how thoughts are worked with in the Dropping Anchor technique:

1️⃣ Acknowledge them
2️⃣ Come back to the present moment - utilising the senses is good for this
3️⃣ Engage in an action which takes you towards what you stand for - your values.
