Where do I need to put in a little more effort, to be self-disciplined? Where do I need to remind myself the greater gains are more beneficial than the desires, which present themselves each day.
be thankful
Contentment is a feeling which tends to stay with you, has a sense of depth to it, of radiating out.
connection
In yoga we connect back with our body and mind through our focus on the poses (asana) and on our breath.
do not run away from yourself
'Simply do not run away from yourself. Our society and culture offer us many distractions, many entertaining toys to help us run away from ourselves
keeping our balance
Suzuki Roshi said that our practice is constantly losing our balance against a background of perfect balance. That is what re-pose is about, to lose our balance constantly, but to return to some upright, dignified posture. And this is true in our life….
